Inge Schramowski, Receptionist

What has your career path at the company looked like?

My journey at Reinhausen began in 1980: At the age of 20, I started in the Organization department, just as a Document Processing Office was being set up and CAD was introduced. In 1994, my daughter was born, and I took an extended family break. In 2016, I had the opportunity to return as a receptionist. In the meantime, Reinhausen has grown tremendously: new products, new buildings, and new colleagues. Yet the special sense of togetherness and the values that define Reinhausen have remained.

How does Reinhausen support your work-life balance?

Reinhausen keeps all generations in mind and understands that individual needs vary depending on life stages. I feel fully supported and especially appreciate the offer of health-focused programs, such as the seminars 'Fit for Retirement' or 'Fit for Everyday Life'. In addition, the Hansefit membership helps me stay active and strengthen my work-life balance.

What's your 'secret recipe' for working well with colleagues from other generations?

My motto: A smile costs nothing but can make a big difference. For me, good teamwork starts right there – no matter which generation we come from. Everyone brings different strengths and experiences. If we make use of that and support each other, everyone benefits.
