More Information

If you would like to determine the condition of your transformer at regular intervals, select routine tests. Concrete measures to extend the service life can be derived from the results.

Our routine test portfolio
The routine test portfolio of MR includes tests for the winding resistance, transmission ratio and insulation resistance. Furthermore, the routine electrical tests include capacity and dissipation factor measurement on the transformer and bushings, as well as the dynamic winding resistance (DRM) and vibro-acoustic (VAM) measurements on the on-load tap-changer.

Your benefit
Regularly conducting our routine electrical tests means learning about relevant changes in the test results early and in good time. This allows measures to be planned and initiated in time. Large emergency repairs are avoided and nothing stands in the way of long-term, fault-free transformer operation.

When a fault occurs, you need a partner with lots of experience and cool head. We have decades of experience with faults and can guide you through identifying and eliminating the fault as a reliable partner.

Our test portfolio for fault analyses
The test portfolio of MR for fault analyses includes tests for the winding resistance, transmission ratio and insulation resistance. Furthermore, the fault analyses include capacity and dissipation factor measurement on the transformer and bushings as well as the sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA). Measurements for short-circuit impedance and exciter current are also part of our test portfolio for fault analyses. The dynamic winding resistance (DRM) and vibro-acoustic (VAM) measurements on the on-load tap-changer complete the measurements.

How you benefit
Using our measurements, we can identify the fault quickly and reliably and find the cause of the fault. We also offer you consultation in order to be able to introduce suitable countermeasures and preventative measures.

Our electrical measurements make it possible to assess the condition of your equipment. As a result, we can identify abnormalities for you and increase the availability and service life of your equipment through suitable countermeasures.

Our test portfolio for condition assessment
MR's test portfolio for condition assessments includes tests for the winding resistance, transmission ratio and insulation resistance. Furthermore, the condition assessment includes capacity and dissipation factor measurement on the transformer and bushings. In addition to the sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA) and frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS), measurements for short-circuit impedance and exciter current are also part of our portfolio for condition assessment.  The dynamic winding resistance (DRM) and vibro-acoustic (VAM) measurements on the on-load tap-changer complete the measurements.

How you benefit
In combination with the visual inspection, oil analysis and thermographic measurement, the electrical measurement portfolio rounds out our range for assessing the condition of your equipment. You get everything from a single source.

If you are setting up a new transformer, you typically need commissioning measurements. We take care of that for you.

Our test portfolio for commissioning on site
MR's test portfolio for on-site commissioning includes tests for the winding resistance, transmission ratio and insulation resistance. Furthermore, the commissioning includes capacity and dissipation factor measurement on the transformer and bushings. In addition to the sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA) and frequency domain spectroscopy (FDS), measurements for short-circuit impedance and exciter current are also part of our portfolio for commissioning. The dynamic winding resistance (DRM) and vibro-acoustic (VAM) measurements on the on-load tap-changer complete the measurements.

How you benefit
We perform the commissioning measurement using all fingerprint measurements and store the data for a later time. You can confidently bring your new transformer into operation.

The right measurement for every situation. Thanks to our special measurements, we keep all the necessary measurements on hand.

Our test portfolio for special measurements
MR's test portfolio for special measurements includes sweep frequency response analysis (SFRA), measurements for polarization/depolarization current (PDC), as well as partial discharge measurement and the measurement of the frequency response of stray losses (FRSL).

How you benefit
Using suitable electrical measurements, we have a substantiated answer for all your questions. Consultation, measurement, interpretation, recommendations and implementation: Everything from a single source.
