The first resistor-type bolt-on tap-changer in vacuum technology

VACUTAP® VBO® is the first resistor-type, bolt-on on-load tap-changer (OLTC) in vacuum technology offering all advantages of this established technology enriched with further possibilities by an innovative direct drive system. VACUTAP® VBO® is retrofit-compatible, flange mounting and winding connection are identical to existing AT on-load tap-changer design. Innovative direct-drive technology eliminates drive shafts or bevel gears and enables a remote and flexible installation of the drive control cabinet.
