Additionally, master data, service reports, and factory acceptance test (FAT) documentation are taken into account to ensure a comprehensive assessment.

Our application supports asset evaluation, but we rely on the expertise of our specialists. Every condition assessment is performed by an MR expert, ensuring the highest quality. We follow internationally recognized standards such as IEC, IEEE, and ASTM.

Solutions like ETOS® and TESSA® APM are built with advanced security features to protect your data. TESSA® FLEETSCAN 2D is hosted exclusively on MR servers in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany. German data protection laws apply, and NO third party has access to your information.

Replacing components such as bushings or cooling systems can also extend service life. A retrofit from OILTAP® to VACUTAP® offers a major step toward reliable operation. We offer visual inspections, thermographic analysis, SF₆ diagnostics, and a range of electrical measurements—including DRM, timing, contact resistance, motion analysis, and minimum pick-up testing—to assess the current condition of your circuit breaker.

Inspections should be performed regularly – at least every one to two years. In critical situations, depending on the condition, daily checks may be necessary, or a monitoring system is recommended. 

Since the transformer will already be offline for OLTC maintenance, this is a good opportunity to carry out additional essential services. These may include:

• Functional testing of protective devices

• Calibration of temperature gauges
• Silica gel replacement
• Cleaning and inspection of insulating components (e.g., bushings, breakers, etc.)

You can upgrade your OILTAP® to a VACUTAP® OLTC by only replacing the diverter switch insert of the type M with the type VM® or the type R with the type VR®.
