New location: Reinhausen Middle East expands service activities
Reinhausen Middle East (RME) was founded in 2006 as a 100% subsidiary of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen in Dubai and has been known as a high-quality service provider for on-load tap-changers ever since. Over the years, the colleagues have continuously expanded their portfolio. Besides premium OLTC service, RME offers comprehensive transformer services and automation solutions. To meet this growth, RME has moved and changed its company form.
Competence Center for Transformer Full Service in the Middle East and surrounding countries
RME is a complete solution provider in the field of transformer services including engineering, service and material (“One stop shop”). As a competent partner RME is the point of contact for customers from the Middle East when they need any transformer service. Because RME offers not only services for transformers and tap-changers, but also for automation solutions around the transformer:
- Service on on-load tap-changers: performed by experienced engineers who are certified as Premium Service Provider (PSP).
- Transformer services: Condition assessment of transformers using our FLEETSCAN 2D method, transformer testing, oil treatment, leakage repair/welding/painting of transformers, replacement of components, and much more.
- Automation solutions for transformers: DGA sensor upgrade solutions, bushing monitoring as well as complete transformer monitoring solutions, repair/replacement of remote tap-changer cabinets and junction boxes, automatic voltage regulators and more.
More and more equipment was needed to perform all these services on site, and the number of spare parts in stock has also been steadily increasing. With the move to the new location, there is now sufficient space for this, the modern set-up covers a total area of 974 sqm. In the in-house workshop, colleagues can now work out customized solutions. The new legal form LLC meets all local regulations.
With the move, the colleagues have laid the foundation for their vision: To become THE competence center for complete transformer service in the Middle East and surrounding countries.
