Yogyakarta is a renowned center of education with several large universities and is also known for its culture and heritage. The event was hosted at the historic Phoenix Hotel, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
More than 80 visitors from public utilities, OEMs, IPPs and heavy industry attended the event. Mr. Sumaryadi as the General Manager of PLN Transmission Eastern and Bali Region opened the event with a presentation on PLN's transformer operating experience and its updated specification requirements. This was followed by technical presentations on today’s challenges in energy supply systems and possible solutions that can be offered by the REINHAUSEN Group. The topics included the regulation of power and distribution transformers, intelligent solutions and instruments for transformers and OLTCs, and also transformer service.
A gallery tour provided a good platform for the visitors to talk with and pose questions to all of the specialists from Indonesia (RID), Germany (MR) and Singapore (ETP). The gallery tour provided an excellent opportunity for visitors and REINHAUSEN colleagues to share knowledge and showcased products such as TAPMOTION® TD ISM®, ECOTAP® VPD®, MESSKO® MSense® x2.5, MESSKO® BeTech, MESSKO® MPreC®, bushings, protective relays, MESSKO® MLog® and Buchholz relays. At the same time, service specialists from RID held a live demonstration of OLTC service and maintenance. A gala dinner successfully capped off the event.
