MR establishes cooperations with several transformer manufacturers
Own team serves strong demand
GANZ Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines Ltd. and Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen have enjoyed a cooperation since April 2022. At that time, the Hungarian pioneer company in transformer technology approached MR with the desire to position itself as a digital solution provider through cooperation. 12 months later, GANZ Intelligent Solutions - based on Reinhausen's ISM® platform - has already established itself in the market and end customer demand for it is strong. The benefits of the cooperation have also generated strong demand in the market of transformer manufacturers, which is now being realized in concrete projects.
With MR cooperation toward the intelligent transformer
A success like that of GANZ and the advantages of cooperation naturally do not remain hidden from other transformer manufacturers. In order to meet further demand, MR has therefore founded its own department for cooperations. A six-member team, with the involvement of its own engineering group, individually implements comprehensively developed cooperations with interested transformer manufacturers. The cooperation approach is modelled in such a way that solutions can be tailored exactly to the needs of the cooperation partner and served flexibly. For example, the OEM is free to use the cooperation to establish its own "digitalized by ISM®" monitoring system to the market or to expand its in-house monitoring system with the MR operating system.
Cooperation with other transformer manufacturers
Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen is currently in talks with other transformer manufacturers - and is already carrying out pilot deliveries with four of them for future cooperation. The experience gained from these deliveries forms the starting point for identifying and implementing further optimization potential within the scope of the joint cooperation. This includes reducing costs, simplifying processes and possibly joint marketing.
