Three new scholarship holders at the Scheubeck-Jansen Foundation
The Scheubeck-Jansen Foundation (SJS)ia fampous in the region by promoting science and research with numerous projects. One impressive sponsorship project is the "Talente aus der Praxis" scholarship program, which for the past eleven years has specifically supported the academic further education of trainees who wish to pursue technical studies.
At the now traditional scholarship holders' meeting, three new scholarship holders were welcomed by foundation board members Susanne and Dr. Kathrin Scheubeck: Daniel Ott is studying electrical engineering and information technology at the OTH Regensburg, Ludwig Wörndl mechanical engineering at the OTH Regensburg and Marcel Berthold is first attending the BOS before devoting himself to his studies.
Anja Zacherl and Michael Gruber presented their bachelor theses to the active scholarship holders and complemented them with valuable tips and advice for their studies and bachelor theses. Both former scholarship holders are moving into permanent positions and expressed their sincere thanks to the SJS for the financial support and excellent assistance in all matters related to their studies. The close and friendly cohesion within the scholarship holders and the regular meetings organized by the foundation were particularly emphasized. To date, 22 scholarship holders have successfully completed their studies with a bachelor's degree.
"We still have close contact with many former scholarship holders, which is very important to us. In addition to the professional qualifications, we as a foundation particularly value the personal contact and the community within the scholarship holders," says Susanne Scheubeck (Chairwoman of the Board of Directors).
Currently, 14 scholarship holders receive support from the SJS. In addition to a monthly grant, various seminars are offered to supplement their studies. Through the cooperation with Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR), there is also the possibility of completing internships or stays abroad at MR's subsidiaries. Further information on the Scheubeck-Jansen Foundation and the scholarship program can be found at www.scheubeck-jansen-stiftung.de.
