Ready when you are: Only 16 weeks delivery time* for OLTCs made by Reinhausen
Bold investments and a global effort have enabled MR to drastically reduce delivery times for on-load tap-changers, committing to 16 weeks*.
Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) has reached an important milestone in its global capacity program: Delivery times for on-load tap-changers (OLTCs) have been stabilized at 16 weeks* – and can now be committed to with certainty.
This has been made possible by extensive investments in all core regions and a globally coordinated package of measures to modernize and scale up production. In Regensburg, the USA, and China, production capacities have been expanded, processes harmonized, and supply chains consistently geared toward higher speed.
The global expansion programs are now in full effect - and provide operators and transformer manufacturers with the planning security they need. This is a critical point especially in a market environment where demand continues to rise sharply. As Holger Michalka, MR Managing Director, notes: “With our global investment offensive, we are laying the foundation for a reliable and resilient supply of on-load tap-changers. The 16-week delivery time* we have now achieved is a direct result of our global structure, process, and location developments. For our customers, this means above all transparency, reliability, and a noticeable reduction in project planning workload.”
Thorsten Stohr, MR Executive Director Sales, adds: “As our customers have been accustomed to for decades, we have done everything in our power to shorten our delivery times, with bold investments, great efforts, leaner processes, and global structures. Our delivery time commitment of no more than 16 weeks* is a deliberate signal to transformer operators and manufacturers that the time for compromise is over. From now on, you can once again rely on both the quality of the global market leader and fast delivery times."
With the new commitment, MR is underlining its actions to remain globally competitive and meet the demands of a dynamically changing energy market. The combination of local manufacturing expertise, internationally harmonized production standards, and future-oriented investments forms the basis for ensuring consistently high availability and maximum product quality for customers worldwide.
*The delivery times are generally based on EXW (Ex Works). In extraordinary cases, even faster delivery times are possible.
