My career began with practical experience as a student, followed by five years in the development of market intelligence for the core business. During this time, a central platform for systematic market and competition analysis was established to enable well-founded strategic decisions. Two years ago, I moved into Business Development Management for strategic OEM cooperations. In this role, numerous internal and external interfaces - from purchasing, finance and technology to engineering and sales - are coordinated. A particular focus is on joint market development in the area of transformer digitalization with the help of the MR portfolio. This includes, for example, tailored training courses and workshops to provide customers with targeted support in implementing digital MR solutions.

What excites me most is the diversity of my area of responsibility - from strategic market analysis to the development of new business opportunities. The close collaboration with various internal departments such as Technology, Sales and Engineering as well as with external customers is particularly exciting. The interface function makes it possible to drive innovation and actively shape the digitalization of transformers together with OEMs. This mix of strategic thinking, market design and direct customer contact makes the work particularly varied and motivating. In addition, the collegial cooperation and positive working atmosphere play a key role in tackling new challenges with enthusiasm every day.

I prefer to travel in my free time, especially to remote areas, off the beaten tourist track. I am fascinated by new cultures, the warmth of the people and the authentic hospitality that I experience on my travels. Every trip broadens my horizons and gives me new perspectives - be it through inspiring encounters or by immersing myself in unknown traditions. This passion complements my job perfectly, as I am a big fan of South America and am professionally responsible for this continent. This allows me to combine my enthusiasm for foreign cultures with my work and develop a deep understanding of the region.
