Why do you think diversity is important for the corporate culture?

I think diversity is essential for corporate culture because it fosters innovation, inclusivity, and long-term success. Diverse teams bring together people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and problem-solving approaches. This diversity of thought stimulates creativity and leads to more innovative solutions, which is crucial in a competitive market. Also, in an increasingly globalized world, diverse teams understand different markets, cultures, and customer needs better. This allows companies to cater to a wider audience and operate more effectively in various regions.

What do you value most about our corporate culture and how has it facilitated your integration?

What I value most about MR’s corporate culture is its emphasis on open communication and collaboration by encouraging direct dialogue, allowing me as a foreign employee to clarify expectations, ask questions, and address any cultural differences in real-time.

Which challenges in particular have you experienced as an international employee and how has the company helped you to overcome them?

Overcoming the language barrier was the most significant challenge I faced as an international employee. MR helped me overcoming it by creating a supportive, patient workplace culture where colleagues are aware of the challenges of a language barrier and are encouraged to support me. For instance, they speak slower or rephrase sentences if needed.
