Shaping the future - MR honored 140 anniversaries
More than 200 guests accepted the invitation to the traditional anniversary celebration of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) in the Parkside at Regensburg's city park, including 140 anniversary guests. Together with their companions, they experienced a very enjoyable and entertaining evening in a festive atmosphere. In addition to the jubilarians for 10 and 25 years of service, 5 employees were honored for an incredible 40 years of service.
MR's anniversary celebration is a tradition and an integral part of the family's corporate culture. In addition to sharing experiences along the way together, the focus was also on looking ahead to the future.
This was also emphasized by Managing Director Dr. Nicolas Maier-Scheubeck during his speech, in which he particularly addressed the challenges and the continuous change required: "The current economic situation is characterized by enormous political and technological challenges. In addition to experience, we also need the courage to make the right decisions faster than before. Every single one of us is crucial if we are to maintain our outstanding market position in the future."
A highlight of the evening was the performance by well-known cabaret artist Michael Altinger, whose central theme was the state of our society, its development, its crises, hardships and hopes. Awarded the Bavarian Cabaret Prize in 2017, Altinger's multifaceted, clever and very funny program provided many laughs, but also thought-provoking moments. Until late in the evening, people laughed together, celebrated and also exchanged new ideas.
