Application

ReCoTec® Post Insulators consist of a high strength epoxy resin filament winded glass fiber tube. Together with the corrosion resistant flanges and the tracking/erosion resistant silicone housing these products fulfill all quality requirements of today’s power grids. In order to avoid any accumulation of moisture inside the tube the insulator are filled with a reliable solid foam or eco-friendly nitrogen gas. This design allows for the combination of extremely light weight and high cantilever strength.

Easy Selection

For many substation designs the mechanical and electrical requirements are defined, based on porcelain station post insulators. Each ReCoTec® Post Insulator is designed to meet also a specific porcelain type according to IEC 60273 numbers.
