"The focus of my work is everything that has to do with on-load tap-changers. This component is a hugely important part of the transformer. There are many types of switches, so variety is guaranteed here. In times of massive technological changes to our grid infrastructure, this topic will become more and more important. MR is a leader in this field. As a growing company, MR gives us the opportunity to study and learn new techniques and technologies.
What is special about my job is the extremely high level of responsibility. Not the slightest mistake can be allowed to happen when working on infrastructure, which is highly exciting in the truest sense of the word. In my 13 years of experience as a supervisor for electrical transformers, I know exactly what high demands are placed on my daily work. That is why I am very happy to work for the undisputed market leader MR. The quality of the products, the high level of service combined with the great cooperation with my colleagues give me exactly the support I need to work carefully and faultlessly.
In addition to precision, passion is not neglected. Every transformer is different, every transformer is a new challenge. You can only succeed if you are motivated and open to new experiences. An outstanding experience in my professional life was the moment when I was appointed supervisor for the first time. I felt the great trust that my supervisors put in me and my work from that moment on. I had to completely replace both guide plates on a tap-changer and disassemble it for this purpose, shortly after passing the exam at the MR Training Centre in Germany. I felt ready to take on this important task - and I succeeded. This sense of achievement confirmed my feeling that I could now take on this big responsibility and that I was working in exactly the right company. What impresses me most about RI is the respect I am shown and the quality of the training from day one. As an MR employee, I feel like I am part of this big family from the very beginning, and I am proud of that. It's true: at MR, power and passion come together."
