CAPT® 086
A powerful solution designed by CAPT for rotary tap changer
CAPT® 086 is available on multiple configurations on the rotary-type design. It can withstand a rated current from 150 A up to 300 A thanks to the different diameters of the available contacts; moreover, rated voltage can be from 24 kV up to 36 kV. Ring-shaped moving contact allows self-centering position and is made of copper, as well as the fixed threaded contacts. On request, contacts can be also tin-plated or silver-plated, which allows better conductivity and helps preventing oxidation.
