MESSKO® MSAFE® Gas Sampler
Test equipment used to collect the Buchholz relay's accumulated gases
These gases can be used for a specific analysis to provide information on the status of the transformer or on-load tap-changer. When installed at a user-friendly working height, the fault gases can be safely and reliably sampled from the Buchholz relay. It is possible to draw reliable and meaningful conclusions regarding sources of error in the transformer or on-load tap-changer from the analysis results (e.g. MESSKO® Gas Quick Test).
The MESSKO® MSAFE® is connected to the MESSKO® gas sampler by means of a special joining system. Copper pipes in various lengths or a PTFE pipe measuring 6 x 1 mm are available at the customer’s request.
