Optimal results with intelligent drying
Our state-of-the-art Transformer Drying Service facilitates smart, controlled drying of the transformer. Unlike conventional drying processes, our smart drying system does not require the transformer to be shut off. The major advantage here is that the system's operating costs are very low and there is no need for heavy equipment. This means that overall drying costs are significantly lower than in conventional methods. The cellulose in the transformer, which stores the majority of the moisture, is also dried in a sustainable manner.
Maximum operating reliability
The drying process can be monitored in real time over a remote connection. If there are any disruptions, an automatic notification will be sent by text message or e-mail. The drying process can be remotely interrupted, stopped or restarted at any time. Maximum operating reliability
As part of installation, maintenance and repair on the transformer, all or some of the transformer oil must be pumped out of the transformer, degassed, filtered and dehumidified. Oil reconditioning (IEC 60422) can be performed by MR as an oil service on your asset. This is also particularly useful for selector maintenance and retrofits.

Reconditioning / Reclaiming
According to the standard definition (IEC 60422), reconditioning is a process by which physical contamination is removed or reduced by way of physical treatment (filtration, dehumidification, degassing, etc.). If reconditioning is expanded, for example with Fuller's earth, this becomes the reclaiming of the oil. Based on the oil analysis, it can be determined whether reconditioning or reclaiming is recommended.
Usually, several 100 liters of transformer oil are disposed during OLTC maintenance. This means wasting valuable resources, dealing with disposal / transport policies and investment costs for new oil.
Within our OLTC maintenance service we provide a sustainable feature concerning insulating liquids. We use a compact filtration system to restore the oil quality on-site by our mobile OLTC oil reclaiming process. All done with the usual MR quality according to our maintenance guidelines and based on IEC 60296 and IEC 60422.

Our mobile OLTC oil reclaiming is part of standard maintenance. The oil is drained into a tank and cleaned directly on site using a compact filter system to remove particles, moisture and degradation products. The devices are smaller, making them easier to transport and require little space.
