The prestigious award uses the best examples to show how ecological and social progress can succeed more quickly. The award aims to motivate all key players to change, to network them across borders and to stimulate partnerships. In cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, the DIHK and other partners, the DNP honors companies from 100 industries. Based on intensive research of publicly available information, pioneers in 100 industries were identified with the help of AI as well as company applications.
A total of 100 independent expert juries will award the top places in each industry in a final decision round. On November 23, 2023, Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke will present the awards in Düsseldorf.
