Since 23 July 2018, European Trafo Products Pte Ltd. Singapore (ETP) has been operating under the name Reinhausen Singapore Pte. Ltd. ETP has been held indirectly by MR through our partnership with CEDASPE S.r.L. The shareholding has now been extended.
The Singapore-based subsidiary European Trafo Products Pte. Ltd. (ETP), the majority of which was acquired on 27 April 2018, is gradually being integrated into the sales network of the Reinhausen Group. To communicate affiliation with the Reinhausen Group clearly to outside parties, particularly our customers, the business has consequently been renamed. Since 23 July 2018, ETP has been operating under the name Reinhausen Singapore Pte. Ltd.
The contract signing took place on 27 April 2018 at the MR headquarters in Regensburg. For the occasion, MR Managing Director Michael Rohde and Gian Franco Giorgio (Managing Director for CEDASPE) welcomed the old and new CEO Henry Ng and his wife Judy Tan in the building on Falkensteinstrasse.
Through Reinhausen Singapore, MR now has an operative footprint in the Asian hub of Singapore. Although its primary purpose is to provide the REINHAUSEN Group with a distribution hub in south-east Asia for the CEDASPE and C.A.P.T. product portfolios in particular, Reinhausen Singapore also enhances the Group's access to the distribution transformer market and will be gradually integrated into the Group's sales network over the course of 2018.
CEO to date, Henry Ng, will continue to lead the company and its ongoing development. Nicola Rampin, REINHAUSEN´s Sales Director Distribution Transformer Components, has been tasked as the project manager for integrating the subsidiary into the REINHAUSEN Group; he will be supported by a team of experienced colleagues.
