Successful showing at Middle East Electricity
Reinhausen Group shows off a new look and EXPIOTECH
Middle East Electricity 2018 (MEE), the most important trade show for the energy sector in the Middle East, took place in Dubai from 3 March to 8 March, 2018. The Reinhausen Group participated for the first time with the product portfolio from all of its companies. At the ultramodern trade-show booth in its new design, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR), Messko, Reinhausen Power Composites, HIGHVOLT, C.a.p.t, CEDASPE and BTRAC presented their products and solutions in a space covering 120 m².
Service for MR now means more than tap-changer maintenance. On a touch display, the Transformer Service business division showcased its product and service portfolio on a 360° transformer. Our new EXPIOTECH MMS system for online transformer drying celebrated its world premiere. The marketing approval for the Expiotech was issued just a few days before MEE, allowing us to provide an up-to-the-minute presentation of our latest product to interested customers. Visitors showed intense interest, leading to many in-depth discussions after the trade show.
The ECOTAP VPD was an eye catcher this year as well, continuing its popularity trend among trade-show visitors. Guests attending MEE primarily come from the Middle East as well as Africa, Pakistan and Iran. For them, the ECOTAP VPD is the perfect solution because it stabilizes grids (important for many countries in Africa) and provides further grid optimization, which is of great importance to Arabian customers.
The world is becoming smarter – and MR products are, too. We were able to demonstrate this to our customers vividly with our TAPMOTION® ED 100 ISM®, TAPCON® ISM®, ReCoTeC® with MSENSE BM and MESSKO® MSENSE® products.
In addition, we presented products from the newest Reinhausen family members: bushings and transformer accessories from CEDASPE and BTRAC as well as de-energized tap-changers from CAPT.
HIGHVOLT at the Reinhausen booth for the first time
HIGHVOLT also presented along with the group for the first time and generated a very positive response among customers. The latest product innovation, a portable testing system for distribution transformers, proved to be a real visitor magnet in the HIGHVOLT area. The system helps our customers to cost-effectively collect valuable information on these important network components. Our WV 18-18/1.4 is a benefit to wind and solar park operators especially, but it is also advantageous for industrial customers who often combine transformers with inverters. The audience of professionals at MEE particularly appreciated the compact design and intuitive operation of our new system.
All in all, the Reinhausen showing at MEE was a great success, which our competitors could also see. This year, our booth was directly adjacent to some competitors in the same market. This was a great opportunity to showcase our technological edge. At the same time, it served as a reminder not to rest on our laurels but to continue pushing forward and to expand our leading position every day.
