MR trainees donate to the Bananenflanke team
On Friday, 24.02.2023, the apprentices of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) handed over a donation of 2,000€ to Team Bananenflanke e.V. in Regensburg. The donation amount came from the annual Christmas raffle during the trainees' Christmas party and was generously topped up by the management. The donation was handed over by the MR youth and trainee representatives during a training session of the team.
True to their motto "Football knows no boundaries", the Bananenflanke team develops personalities and social skills through professional training, while of course having fun.
MR itself offers its employees numerous opportunities for sporting activities and is therefore pleased to be able to support Team Bananenflanke in order to promote sport without borders in society.
Board member Dr. Moritz Bauer is particularly pleased because the donation comes from the trainees and thus support from young people for young people. As a token of gratitude, a jersey was handed over to the MR, which will soon have a place of honour in the break room of the MR's training and further education centre. A big thank you goes to all those involved who helped to reach this sum.
Finally, a note for all those willing to help: Team Bananenflanke offers everyone the opportunity to become a sustaining member and thus support the association. One-off donations are also welcome, because every cent is important and directly benefits the quality of the training and the events.
