Fight against the coronavirus in Italy - Reinhausen Group donates 100,000 Euros

Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen, a German world market leader in the control of power transformers for a secure power supply, is donating 100,000 euros via its subsidiary Reinhausen Italia (Milan) to support medical personnel and auxiliary staff in the Italian regions of Lombardy and Veneto, which are most severely affected by the corona virus. Reinhausen Group has also two further subsidiaries, C.A.P.T S.r.I in Veneto and Cedaspe S.r.I in Lombardia, with one manufacturing unit in Codogno.

Dr. Nicolas Maier-Scheubeck, Spokesman of the Board of Management: "Life would be inhumane without people. Humanity is essential to life. As a family business, we are committed to the well-being of our employees. This includes helping in times of need and also supporting others in helping others. We very much hope that our donation will help to stop the corona virus in Italy. So that people will suffer less and joy and confidence will return. The money will be provided by Antonio Pasquarelli, Managing Director of Reinhausen Italia, to the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences ”L.Sacco of the University of Milan connected with the Luigi Sacco Hospital in Milano (Lombardy) in order to provide immediate and concrete support for research into improved therapies for combatting COVID-19 by means of the correct use of patients’ case histories and to the Local Social Health Unit of Vicenza in order to buy important medical devices.
