MR trainees hand over a donation of 3,000 euros
After a long wait, the apprentices at Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) were recently able to hand over a donation of 1,500 euros each to the Hoffmann Group Foundation GmbH and to an MR employee. The donation was collected as part of the annual Christmas raffle at the trainee Christmas party and, as every year, topped up by the management.
The donation was able to provide the beneficiary MR employee, who used to be a trainee at MR herself, with much-needed support following a stroke of fate. With the Hoffmann Group Foundation, the donation reaches institutions that support disadvantaged and traumatized children and young people. Founded in 2006 by the Hoffmann Group, a leading supplier of quality tools, the children and young people are given the opportunity to develop freely in line with the Foundation's guiding principle “Tools create values” - whether through creative activities in a workshop or educational therapies based on music, dance and art.
The youth and trainee representatives at MR, the organizers of the annual fundraising campaign, are very pleased with the increasing willingness of trainees to donate. This development is not only due to the growing number of trainees, but rather to the increasing selflessness and willingness to support people in need. These values are practiced at MR and are an important component in the selection of employees and trainees.
