Cedaspe Begins Construction of its New Plant in Carpiano
A strategic investment to drive innovation and growth in global markets
San Giuliano, 2 Feburary – With the groundbreaking ceremony, CEDASPE has officially launched the construction works for its new headquarters in Carpiano (Milan), a strategic project designed to support the company’s growth in the coming years.
The new headquarters will be fully operational from September 2026, strengthening the company’s presence in the southern Milan industrial area and supporting the expansion of production activities. The long-term goal is to consolidate the creation of added value for customers and stakeholders.
This is a new milestone that strengthens CEDASPE’s future and its role in the region where it is located.
The new site is designed to accommodate the increase in staff and production volume and to meet the growing complexity of industrial processes, with a strong focus on maximizing operational quality. By consolidating offices and production at a single location, the facility will enable more agile process management, greater integration of various business functions, and reduced internal logistics times and costs. The new structure will also support the introduction of advanced processes and technologies, improve production monitoring and control, and ensure high sustainability standards.
The ceremony was attended by Nicola Rampin, Managing Director CEDASPE; Holger Michalka, Managing Director Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen; Christian Koller, Member of the Board of Directors CEDASPE; Mattia Redaelli, Operations Manager CEDASPE; Marco Salvadeo, President of Assolombarda South East; Loris Carmagnani, Mayor of Carpiano, and Deputy Mayor Eleonora Negruzzi. The presence of institutional representatives highlights the strategic and territorial importance of the project, which aims to further strengthen CEDASPE’s position as a reliable partner and key player in the energy sector.
“The new CEDASPE facility is a key part of the largest expansion program in our company’s history. As demand in the electricity sector and for our technologies grows, we invest boldly in capacity, skilled personnel, and staying close to our customers. CEDASPE plays a crucial role in ensuring reliable delivery in a market where speed, quality, and flexibility are essential.”
Holger Michalka, Managing Director Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen
This investment is a cornerstone of Reinhausen’s global strategy. It opens a new chapter focused on future-oriented business growth, embodies the ambition guiding the group toward innovation, resilience, and rapid transformation, and reinforces CEDASPE’s role as a key factor to the group’s success.
„This project is an important step for CEDASPE’s long-term growth. We have strong ties to the south of Milan, and our company identifies with the people who work here and the expertise we have built up in the field of transformer components. Consolidating our operations in a modern, purpose-built facility will improve working conditions, ensure high standards of safety and efficiency, and provide our employees with the environment they need to collaborate, grow, and meet the challenges of the future.”
Nicola Rampin, Managing Director CEDASPE
