Pressure relief valve for distribution transformers (without contacts)
CEDASPE® R series is spring-inside-the-tank pressure relief valve without contacts, for distribution oil-immersed transformers. It opens when the pressure inside the tank rises above the set value and reduces the pressure inside the tank by releasing oil. As a safety valve, it is set at a certain value to prevent excessive mechanical stress of the tank wall. When overpressure is detected, the valve works by quickly lifting the shutter upwards to allow oil to flow out, limiting the risk of tank explosion.
