The key is ester in combination with high-temperature insulating materials for transformers, tap changers and accessories.
As an alternative insulating liquid, ester offers many known advantages to mineral oil. The high combustion point of ester means it does not easily catch fire – a crucial advantage when it comes to fire safety. Ester liquids also meet high environmental standards, because they are biodegradable and non-toxic. These advantages reduce the operating risks enormously.
Furthermore, ester allows for high operating temperatures. Using high-temperature insulating materials for a transformer, and tap changer as well, lets you raise transformers to a whole new level with alternative insulating liquids. Your transformer becomes a high-temperature transformer.
