GRIDCON® Sensors can be fitted at critical points in the grid to implement voltage regulation algorithms which take into account the low-voltage busbars and other data points. These communicate with the regulation intelligence in the local grid station and by transferring relevant control parameters such as V, I and cos(phi) enable finer regulation.
The link between the sensor and regulation intelligence can be adapted to local circumstances. BPL, GSM and optical fibers are possible for this purpose. Connection to and incorporation in existing secondary technology structures are also imaginable.
