VACUTAP® VT for New International Terminal at the Sabiha Gökcen Airport in Istanbul

When the 320,000-square-meter, enclosed area of the International Terminal is completed, 25 million passengers will be able to be processed every year at the Sabiha Gökcen Airport in Istanbul where 40 airlines will offer flights to 68 destinations. Transformers from AREVA will provide reliable power to this important, ultra modern building of the operator's consortium of Limak and GMR. The critical power supply areas will be covered by two dry-type transformers with a switching capability of between 12.5 MVA and 34.5/6.3 kV. Three VACUTAP® VT I's installed in each of the two transformers will ensure constant voltage conditions.
