Hi, my name is Steffen and I am studying Industrial Engineering - Energy and Resource Management at the Technical University in Clausthal. Recently, I did a two-month internship at the subsidiary of MR in Shanghai, China.
The content of my Internship was to analyze the Chinese transformer oil analysis market for Messko Instruments China.
During my stay in China I learned a lot about the business of the Reinhausen Group and the Chinese market as well as about China itself, its culture and people. Therefore, I want to thank everyone who made this adventure possible.
Hello, my name is Martin.
On September 1st I could finally depart to China! When I arrived at my apartment in Suzhou, I was warmly welcomed by my Chinese colleague. She also supported me during my first steps, such as registration with the responsible authority and buying a SIM card for my cell phone. Already within the first week in Suzhou, I was invited by my department to dinner in a traditional Chinese restaurant – and I had the opportunity to experience Chinese hospitality. I also visited one of the typical markets and a traditional Chinese apartment in one of the older areas where you still can’t find high-buildings. The Times Square with the giant LED screen will remain unforgettable for me, too. All these impressions are probably just the tip of the iceberg that is called China. That's why I'm looking forward to discovering further parts of the Chinese "way of life".
P.S.: I would like to give a hint to all men: Being the only man in a group at dinner, I got to know the Chinese custom that men have to do the washing up alone.
