MR Power Run supports Regensburg Women's Shelter

250 participants, a donation of 4,000 euros

This year’s Reinhausen GmbH charity run raised 4,000 euros for the charity “Frauen helfen Frauen e.V.”. Thanks to this donation, the autonomous women’s refuge in Regensburg is expanding its capacity from 12 to 20 places.

At Reinhausen GmbH’s in-house Power Run on Friday, 12 June 2026, around 250 runners and walkers, along with their companions, lined up at the starting line on Regensburg’s Dultplatz. The first starting gun was fired at 5 pm, and the route led along the Danube towards Westbadweiher. At the finish line, every participant received a finisher’s gift, followed by refreshments for everyone in the Glöckl tent.

The Power Run combines sporting competition with social commitment: all proceeds are donated, and the volunteers work for free in their spare time. This year, festival organiser Alfred Glöckl covered the catering costs for runners and volunteers in the marquee. The Reinhausen management team, which has supported the event from the very beginning, once again topped up the amount raised, enabling the Power Run team to hand over 4,000 euros to the charity “Frauen helfen Frauen e.V.” (an independent women’s refuge and counselling centre).

The charity offers counselling and support services for women affected by domestic violence and their children. Ingeborg Heindl and Lorena Weber accepted the donation: “We currently have 12 places and aim to expand to 20. This donation will be a great help to us. Once the second property has been refurbished, it will also be able to accommodate women and children with disabilities, something that has only been possible to a very limited extent until now. Thank you very much!”

„The Power Run thrives on the dedication of our colleagues and the many volunteers. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to them.“

Oliver Reetz, spokesperson for Reinhausen GmbH

“We are particularly proud that this joint effort allows us to support the independent women’s shelter in Regensburg. Facilities like this offer protection and a fresh start for women and children in need. That deserves our full support.” Oliver Reetz, press spokesperson for Reinhausen GmbH, expressed his appreciation for the commitment of those involved.
