Protective Relay RS 2001
The Protective Relay RS 2001 is in the pipe connection between the tap changer head and the oil conservator and responds to oil flows from the diverter switch oil compartment to the oil conservator. If a malfunction occurs, the immediate disconnection of the transformer is ensured by the protective relay looped into the tripping circuit of the transformer circuit breaker.

Our standard for use on OLTC is as follows:
-Operating pressure 20 PSI
-Terminal Box with 1 microswitch
-Integrated cover (covering cap), acrylic coated
-Indicator pin of seawater resistent aluminium, with notches to avoid unintentional resets
-Gaskets of Perbunan NBR 70 (especially developped for MR - OLTC)

Thermoswitch TR
The thermoswitch comprises thermo-sensor and relay amplifier. The thermo-sensor is mounted in the tap changer head and measures the oil temperature of the tap changer. The relay amplifier is installed into the motor drive and connected in the control circuit in such a manner that when the thermostat responds, the motor drive is blocked for electrical operation.

Drive Shaft
The drive shaft is the mechanical connection between motor drive and tap changer head. The bevel gear serves for diverting from the vertical to the horizontal direction.
