Equipment from Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen is being used more and more in the energy systems of the CIS countries. There is not one of these countries where MR´s OLTC´s are not in operation. Nevertheless, far from all energy networks are aware of the benefits that MR tap-changers and Messko transformer accessories offer for the running of power or furnace transformers. On May 15, the first MRcademy® was held in Iraq. The event was a huge success with 80 guests from utilities, OEMs and industry from all over the country travelling to Baghdad at MR's invitation to learn about the products and latest innovations of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen. For the third time, German news channel n-tv has selected Germany's "Hidden Champion" of the year. The main prize as well as awards for "Sustainability", "Social Responsibility", "Generational Transition", and "Brand" are granted to companies that are highly successful but largely unknown to the general public. This year the main prize was awarded to Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR). The company simultaneously won the "Social Responsibility" category. Approximately 100 firms competed for prizes.
