Duration of the training:

3 ½ years

Contents of the training program (an excerpt):

  • Manual or machine chipping of various materials 
  • Application of separating and converting technologies
  • Jointing of materials (e.g. bonding, soldering, fusion welding...)
  • Assembly of components to make modules using working plans, tools, rigs and measuring devices
  • Commissioning of machines and systems
  • Principles of electrical engineering
  • Control technology (pneumatics / E-pneumatics, hydraulics)

Requirements:

  • Qualifying secondary modern school certificate
  • “O” levels
  • Technical aptitude
