Voltage regulation for distribution networks

The energy transition is changing the role of energy grids

While distribution grids were originally intended for the one-way distribution of energy from higher voltage levels down to end consumers, they are now also being used to collect energy generated in decentralized locations and sometimes even to feed it back into higher grid levels. New kinds of consumers, such as heat pumps and electric cars, in the distribution grid mean new tasks not envisaged when the distribution grids were planned.

Voltage range infringements resulting from the paradigm shift in the grids is the most frequent problem. Systems from the GRIDCON® family and our wide range of services are designed to solve this problem.
