Plasma treatment: Ecological, efficient, economical
In many cases the reliable manufacture of components entailing optimum material utilisation and high functional density under efficient conditions is only possible with plasma. Plasma treatment is an environmentally sound solution, as it has no chemical steps whose constituents could pollute the environment. Plasma treatments at atmospheric pressure are far more economical than comparable low-pressure processes: Depending on the process gas used, the operational costs of a plasma generator in continuous operation amount to approx. 2.30 EUR in the case of nitrogen and approx. 3,60 EUR for argon.
