	We started as a joint venture with Westinghouse Electric in 1987 and became a 100% subsidiary of German Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) on January 1,1990. We are located in the Volunteer State of Tennessee near the heartbeat of country music, just one hour east of Memphis and two hours west of Nashville. We are the only independent manufacturer of reactive-type on-load tap-changers with vacuum interrupters in the world. Today we proudly offer the most popular LTC ever designed in North American history - the VACUTAP® RMV. We also support in-tank designs from our parent company, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (VACUTAP® VR and VV, OILTAP® V, H, D, F, K, T, M, MS, and R among others), Trafo-Union, and also older Westinghouse designs (UTS, UTT, and UVT).
