Know-how

Physical phenomena come into play during the distribution of power and influence the quality of the voltage.

Foremost among these is the reactive power that on the one hand is necessary for the generation of the magnetic fields of electric machines, but on the other hand cannot actually be converted into effective power. Reactive power is uneconomical and for this reason must be kept to a minimum as far as possible.

In addition harmonics, intermediary harmonics, oscillations, voltage fluctuations, network unbalances, commutation dips, flicker or certain audio frequencies are generated and these also impair trouble-free transmission and distribution of the power.  We have the know-how and tools at our disposal not only to analyse such phenomena but to actually compensate their effects with suitable equipment.
