The TRASY2 thermometer range has been designed specially for measuring temperatures in distribution and power transformers. TRASY2 is a development of the first modular system which has achieved an excellent track record over the years.
The MT-ST160F is a stand-alone, energy independent pointer thermometer which use microswitches for various switching functions. The measured value is captured by a liquid filled temperature sensor and is then transmitted via a spiral spring which is linked with zero backlash to a pointer spindle. The thermometer has microswitches with fully adjustable settings.
Possible applications:
- Pointer thermometer to display oil temperature at the transformer
- Pointer thermometer to display oil temperature at the transformer and remote transmission of measured value (oil temperature).
In this case the additional Combi Well (see below) and signal conditioner or moving coil indicator are necessary.
