That is why we ensure an exciting mix in our project teams – developers with many years of experience and canny young engineers.
There is only one thing that ever counts in the work of power supply: reliability and availability of the equipment. There are no ifs, ands and buts! Every new development must operate with absolute reliability when it is launched on the market. We ensure this by using proved and tested components on the one hand and through intensive test cycles on the other. Our experimental center – unique through out the world – helps us to here. We can expose our new products to the extreme conditions that they will have to bear up under, in the course of their long service lives. This applies to the testing of mechanics, high-voltage and power. All this so we can offer our customers the most reliable products available anywhere on the market.
Typical for the on-load tap-changers we develop, and for their drive systems and accessories, is their consistently long service life of 40 years and more. Also typical is the long life cycles of the individual series. We have set this as our standard and using a systematic product update we analyse each type series to see if there is room for improvement with regard to reliability and customer value. In this way we ensure that our products get better with every face-lift.
